The Signage and Advertising Plan describes your dispensaries plan for advertising, marketing and any signage on your dispensary building. You'll want these things to be handled in a way that aligns with state marijuana regulations.
Operators can use this to guide their marketing and advertising strategy, and as record for the state to inspect should they ever want to see your advertising and marketing plan.
Applicants can use this plan in the case that the application asks for an advertising, signage and/or marketing plan.
Applicants can also add this to their operations plan if the page limit set by the applications leaves room to do so.
Search for each of these terms in the regulations. You're looking for pieces of each regulation that pertain to regulations pertaining to advertising and signage Refer to the General Sheet Editing DIY Guide for guidance on what to do with these key words.
Search for each of the bolded terms in the Signage and Advertising Plan sheet, including the brackets. Do a "replace all" and insert the pertinent information needed to replace the term. The description underneath each bolded term below tells you what information should replace the bolded term. For instance, you would use the search feature in your document editing software to look for [Company *1] and then using the replace all feature, replace [Company *1] with your company name.
Replace with the name of your company. This document includes [Company *1] a lot of times. You may want to switch some of these to "we" "our company "the company" instead of just your company name.
Replace with the name of the city in which your company operates or will operate
Replace with the name of the department that regulates dispensaries in your state
Replace with the name of the state in which your company operates or will operate
We suggest that you read through the sheet and make any additional edits or additions that you see fit. Here is one suggestion to get you started.
Remember to rename the plan to match the name that the application uses (ex: the application may require a "Marketing" plan, in which case you would change the name of the plan to Marketing using whatever document naming convention required by the application).
If not using for an application you can keep the document name as is, or change it to whatever works best for your internal dispensary operations.
