In April 2020 Arizona issued new dispensary licenses. The next round of Arizona dispensary licensing has yet to be announced. The Arizona Department of Health will give 30 days of notice before accepting license applications again.
Each state has its own time frames for accepting dispensary licensing. Some are always accepting applications and others have specific time windows for applications. If there is a specific time window you want to make sure to prepare your application in time, so you don't miss the deadline! Even though Arizona has yet to announce the date of their next application window, it's a good idea to start getting everything prepared now! Preparing ahead of time will give you time to make your application as good as possible to increase your chances of getting one of the coveted Arizona dispensary licenses!

C. A nonprofit medical marijuana dispensary that receives a 2 registration certificate pursuant to subsection a, paragraph 1 or 2 of 3 this section on or after April 1, 2020 must open the dispensary at the 4 approved location within eighteen months after the application is approved 5 or the registration certificate becomes invalid.
